G.O. Ministries is a Christian organization at work in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Colombia, Mongolia, and the United States. Our family joined this organization because we appreciated how they come alongside national Christian leaders already in place doing ministry and support them instead of taking over and insist upon "the American way." Their goal is to redeem people, renew communities and restore creation and we found that worthy of our time, attention...our life, so we joined them.
G.O. Ministries has built churches, schools, medical clinics, nutrition centers, homes and more. We help equip pastors and other leaders to teach the Bible and help bring about change in their communities. Through Sports Outreach programs (teams, clinics, leagues, etc.) we reach out to at-risk youth and teach them about teamwork, responsibility, endurance, and, most importantly, Jesus.
